opinions on Zoo Med clay burrowing substrate?

i have a leopard gecko and currntly use Reptile Carpet as the substrate-but it smells! i want something more natural like clay, any reviews? or any other ideas?

see i hate that stuff, it is like clay, so it will mold and harden, so unless you create burrows and stuff for it before it hardens it is pretty much useless, you can wash your cage carpet, you can even throw it in a washing machine! or just use paper towels and throw them out when they get messy
