Whats the best substrate for golden geckos?
A breeder said paper towels since it holds humidity really well. I used to use eco earth but every reptile ive used it with got mites and its a really dirty topical soil. So what would you say? Should I go with paper towels or a different bedding?
Gizmor, sand doesnt hold humidity and its not the best for any reptile... Its easily ingested and can impact them easily.
try calci sand...thats what we used on our lizards and so easy to spot clean. You can sift it with and aquarium fish net
