Kaytee Reptile Bedding

Question about bedding?

Can you use Kaytee Total Comfort on gerbils? Okay, here's the story. When I got my gerbil, I got this aspen bedding from WalMart. It was around $5.00, and I could clean my gerbil's tank about five times with one bag. Recently, they've changed the bedding to another aspen type, only it's $4.00, and it will only last for about one tank cleaning! I looked in the bird and reptile section, still none of the other bedding! So, I looked on Petco.com, and no luck, but they do have Kaytee Total Comfort on sale, buy one get one free. Is it okay to use on gerbils? They say it's really soft, is it like cotton balls, like will my gerbil's feet get caught in the bedding? Just wondering. Thanks!
MermaidGirl76, I don't need you to tell me that when you haven't even seen my gerbil's cage. I'll have you know that my gerbil has a tank topper, so he does have a cage on top of his tank!

It sounds like you only have a few dollars to spend on bedding for your gerbil. That's fine, but it means that it will be harder to find good, safe, long lasting bedding! Was this the type of bedding that you were talking about?: http://www.petco.com/product/100588/Kaytee-Total-Comfort-Critter-Friendly-Bedding.aspx

If so, this stuff looks great for your gerbil! I was reading the reviews on the page, and everyone says that it works great! Thanks,
