Mercury Vapor Reptile Lamps

HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE?
Please help i bought the Zoo Med dimmable Reptile Lamp for my tortoise and i cant seem to find a uvb/uva light bulb that meets the requirments, it has to be non mercury vapor. please help
I'm assuming you have one of those adjustable, dome fixtures? Those are for heat lights. Still important, but not for your UV bulbs. What you want to get is a long tube light fixture, and a long tube UV light. Good job though, not getting MVBs--I agree, not enough is known about them to say if they are reliable or not. That's why you should stick with the dome light for heat and the tube light for UV. Hope this helps. =)
