Under Tank heater for sugar glider ?
i was woundering if the ZooMed Repti-Therm Under Tank Heater would be okay to use in a sugar glider cage because it only raises it lik 5 or ten degrees and i think that may be better then a hotrock i cant get a space heater because my parents are paraniod and i dont want my joey to get cold when they are cheap and turn the heat down at night
thanks
Heaters are bad news. Don't use them. If you think your joey might be cold, use a cage cover to eliminate drafts or a space heater in the room (away from the cage) to bring up the temp.
If the sleeping pouch is made of fleece, you don't have to worry too much. Fleece absorbs heat well and keeps gliders warm as they sleep.
Good luck.
