Some Crested Gecko Questions?

I am preparing a presentation for my parents on why crested geckos make good pets. I've done my research on the reptile itself, and now I am onto setup costs.

I am considering the medium Exo Terra Rainforest Habitat Kit (PT-2662), but I cannot find approximate prices for it anywhere. So, I was wondering if any of you wonderful people knew or could find the prices.

Your help is greatly appreciated!

The kits are brand new, but I think they run around $200. It's not a horrible deal, but you may not want all the stuff they have in there, and the lighting is completely unnecessary. If you can, I'd try to get just the plain one or the Zoo-med version of it and decorate it yourself. It's just a waste of some money because you don't need the light fixture, so there's really not a point in paying for it. If you wanted to do live plants, though, you may want to consider using a low-output UVB bulb.

Anywho, I use and love the Exo-terras and have the 12x12x18 and the 18" cubes. Both are great and definitely worth the investment!

Just beware... cresteds are very addictive!
