How to decrease humidity in reptile terrarium?
i have a uro and the hum is like 40-50 at night. how do i decrease that
ok the more ventilation the less humidity. so to lower u could get a better ventilated tank or put a fan near the tank (this may also lower temperature) also u can give it a smaller water source (smaller water dish) and keep it on the cool side of the tank
to get more humidity less ventilation (altho is can cause illness issues) u can cover a section of the screen/mesh section of your vivarium or just buy a vivarium with less ventilation. also misting/spraying or a larger water source can help.
things like fish tanks have poor ventilation this is why they make poor choices for housing for many species (but people do it anyway because it "easier") and screen/mesh vivariums have great ventilation but struggle with humidity
