How to find a Veterinarian for a turtle?
I have an Ornate Wood Turtle that I've owned for maybe two years now. I haven't taken him once to see a vet since I bought him. I don't know whether or not veterinary care is really necessary for him as much as it is for a dog or cat, and its difficult finding reliable vets that actually know how to care for reptiles. So do I need a vet for the turtle? How should I find a reliable one? Does anyone from the Houston area have vet reccomendations?
