Ribbon Reptile
What does it mean when somebody has a version number beside their pet species?

I've been on some reptile forums and have seen people list their pets with numbers beside them that look like a version number. What does this mean? Just curious..

Example:

1.1.0 Corn Snake, 1.0.0 Ribbon Snake, 6.1.0 Eastern Box Turtles, 0.0.1 Gulf Coast Box Turtle, 0.0.1 Redfoot Tortoise, 0.2.0 Russian Tortoises, 0.1.0 Diamondback Terrapin, 1.1.0 Yellow Bellied Slider, 1.1.0 Fire-Belly Toads

Usually male.female.unsexed
so 1.1.0 corn snake would mean 1 male 1 female and 0 unsexed
