Reptile Bulb

Can I put a regular light bulb in my turtles lamp?
Or do I have to buy one of those expensive fancy "reptile bulbs?"
you can , as long as it makes the heat they need. basking shhoubd be around 30C . you can check it with a thermometer
i think the best thing is to buy a cheap 50 W Halogen Lamp cause it makes heat and you dont need to make it close to the turtle, safer and better ( a vet suggested it to me and it works great)
dont forget to buy UVB Lamp for Ultra Violet (those are abit expensive but they need it)
